For the longest time, the term “witch” has been used to discredit and silence women. The film Suspiria (1977 & 2018) reclaims the term with the tenacious Suzy Bannion in the most female-centric film in the horror genre, revolving around the power of a collection of united women who pass along knowledge to one another as a means of survival.
