Life Bank Paper is a smooth woven paper that I really like for its high quality and simplicity.

The pad has a nice pink blotter page.  The paper handles fountain pen ink with flawless performance.

No bleed-through no feathering.  The paper is thin so you do get some ghosting but it’s not enough to bother me.

That paper, contrary to most Life papers, is made by Mitsubishi, whose meaning is, you guessed right, “three diamonds”. The origin of this paper was the banking activity of the Mitsubishi group, whose name is still present in one of the biggest banks in Japan–the Tokyo-Mitsubishi-UFJ Bank.
